Big US interest in egg replacement

Arla Foods Ingredients meets the US bakery industry at BakingTech 2013

Efficient egg replacement solutions from Arla Foods Ingredients were at the heart of many customer meetings at BakingTech 2013, hosted by the American Society of Baking in Chicago, Illinois.

More than 900 visitors attended the three-day event, where Arla Foods Ingredients’ functional milk protein solutions were a good match for the clean-label trend that was very much in evidence.

“BakingTech is a great opportunity for us to make contact and increase awareness of our solutions on the US market. Several of our customers are now testing our egg-replacing proteins in a cookie formulation,” says Courtney Lopez, key account manager.
