Infancy is a critical period of rapid cognitive development that gives the infant the capability to learn all the new skills needed. The right nutrition to support this immense development is of paramount importance.
Several studies have investigated the correlation between infant feeding regimes (breast milk or infant formula) and infant cognitive development. All have demonstrated that breastfeeding has a consistent, small but significant, positive influence on cognitive function compared to formula feeding.
