We have always set challenging targets for ourselves at Arla Foods Ingredients. With the launch of our new company strategy, our ambitions have moved into even higher gear. Our goal to double the size of our business by 2017 places great demands on us to make the necessary investments in capacity and in ensuring the top performance of our people and processes.In this issue of Talking Point, we report on some of the steps that are bringing us forward on this journey. A number of major investments in our whey processing capabilities are already complete, and we are now looking forward to the start-up of production at two new lactose plants during 2014.

For us, successful growth is not just about becoming bigger. It is also about maintaining and strengthening our reputation as a supplier of high-quality solutions and services.Our continuing focus on quality permeates this issue.
