Our R&D centre is responsible for the development of new ingredients, corresponding processes and implementation into the production process.
We have a 2000 m2 pilot plant equipped with 1st stage operations resembling production plant units. Here, we test new protein modifications and separation techniques. We are also able to quickly produce customer samples of new ingredients and implement pilot production.
By closely cooperating with our Functional Milk Protein, Nutrition and Bakery departments, we help to secure a clear customer focus in new product development projects.
We secure quick and continuous knowledge transfer to our production plants by both optimising existing processes and implementing new developed processes.
We also cooperate extensively with leading international universities and institutes with the necessary tools to measure effects such as bioactivity, immune stimulation, aggregates, water binding, induced protein modification etc.
Throughout the testing phase we lay great emphasis on product safety and effectiveness. Once the laboratory testing is complete, all our findings are meticulously documented.
