The opportunity to work in an international, innovative environment was too good to miss when Martin Kristensen first saw the Arla Foods Ingredients job advertisement. ''It was exactly the right job for me'', he says.
Two years later, the job still lives up to his expectations.

”It is just as exciting now as when I started. The department is fairly new, and there is still much potential for future development,”

Martin explains. After training to be a baker, Martin spent a few years working for bakeries in the USA and Norway before returning to Denmark and studying to become a food technician. His career then took him into food product development, particularly nutritional products for special diets.
Today, as bakery technical manager at Arla Foods Ingredients, he draws on all his expertise – technical and international – when supporting the sale and implementation of bakery solutions by customers in China, Taiwan and the Nordic region.

“Apart from working with innovation, what appeals to me is the opportunity to be in contact with colleagues and customers worldwide. My job involves considerable travel and use of my language skills.”

Martin enjoys the daily challenges, which have contributed a lot to his personal development since joining the company. With two young children at home, he also appreciates the considerable flexibility a job at Arla Foods Ingredients provides.
“Responsibility with freedom – that suits me fine!” Martin laughs.
