A qualified food technician, Dorte spends much of her time testing functional milk proteins in bakery formulations – the second step of the Twintell® Application Programme. Up to 24 formulations may be tested a day in the hunt for the optimal customer solution.
Now the team has grown to 14 and recently moved into the new, sophisticated application centre in Århus, Denmark.
“It’s good to be closer to our functional milk protein colleagues,” says Dorte. “The move has also made us more visible within the organisation.”

Dorte thrives on the many creative opportunities to satisfy her natural curiosity. The daily dose of new knowledge ensures her ongoing personal development.
”There’s a new challenge every day,” she explains. “We are also involved in evaluating our tests and determining what to try next. As colleagues, we are good at giving each other praise when we have done a good job.”
The friendly atmosphere is one of the things Dorte really appreciates. Everyone takes their job seriously, but there is always room for a smile or a joke. As Dorte firmly believes, going to work should be fun.
Flexible hours make it easy to fit work around two small children. From time to time, there are also social events, where her husband can meet the colleagues he has heard so much about. All in all, Dorte is one satisfied member of staff.
“It’s a good place to work,” she remarks.
