Protein solutions attract big interest

Arla Foods Ingredients records a fruitful trade fair season

Arla Foods Ingredients has been a visible presence at trade fairs on both sides of the Atlantic this autumn. Many have taken the opportunity to meet the team at the International Baking Industry Exposition IBIE and Supply Side West in Las Vegas and Food Ingredients Europe in Frankfurt.

  • Four key solutions were on the trade fair trail: 
  • Hi -Pro Improvers for high-protein yoghurt and beverages
  • Nutrilac® Natural Improvers for bakery
  • Protein Water, a prototype concept that demonstrates the appeal of high-protein soft drinks
  • New dry-blend lactose, primarily for infant nutrition.


At Food Ingredients Europe, Arla Foods Ingredients also presented its new ‘Quality starts here’ brand platform. For marketing communication manager Lars Vestergaard Nielsen, the level of interest shown and the many good discussions with existing and potential customers are highly positive outcomes of a busy season. “The launch of our ‘Quality starts here’ platform at Food Ingredients Europe gave us a good opportunity to tell visitors that our approach to quality is more than the products we sell – it’s integral to everything we do,” he adds. “We will continue to tell the good stories about Arla Foods Ingredients.”
