Whey capturesthe imagination

The fast-growing international interest in whey as a highly nutritional and functional ingredient was not in doubt at the International
Whey Conference held in Chicago in mid-September. Whey protein manufacturers and their customers in the food industry were widely represented at the fourth annual event.
Arla Foods Ingredients contributed with presentations on the advantages of milk-based proteins in meat and ice cream and on the bioactivity of milk proteins in infant formulas. The event also provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the latest opportunities to customers and other visitors to the company stand.
