Arla Mengniu has signed a contract to lease three warehouses in Southern China.

”It’s vital for us that the right products reach the stores at the right time,” says Managing Director Jais Valeur. ”By establishing three new depots, we will strengthen our supply reliability.”.

Arla Mengniu supplies a wide range of distributors who sell the products on to stores. The products are currently distributed from Arla Mengniu’s dairy in North Western China.
”This means that stores in Southern China are almost 2,000 km away,” says Jais Valeur. ”This, in turn, means that it can be difficult to make urgent deliveries. With three well-stocked depots in the southern regions where distributors can collect the products, we’re in a stronger position,” says Jais Valeur.
